Try to No Tube (failed)

I got new tires and wheels from Chain Reaction Cycles and Wiggle, so I try to add Stan's No Tube sealant in the tires.

Tires: Continental X-King 26x2.2
Wheels: 2013 Mavic Cross Trail
The tire does't have a side protection but is a folding type.
Firstly, I put a tube into the tire and inflate it until the bead seated.

Remove the  tube, then there is only seated bead remains only one side.

Stan's No Tube sealant is here.

Add 1.5 cups of the sealant.

Use a tape temporarily to help the bead seated. In the case of the Continental tire, it was easy to seat the bead using only a floor pump.
Shake and rest...and check and see...
However, the sealant came out from the side wall of the tire from point to point over again.
The sealant that came out was solidify like a wart.
When touching the wart, air came out easily again.
As for the Continental X-King that have no side protection, the tire was not easy to become stable.
I shook and rested wheels for three days but didn't make the no tube tires.
Summary
  • Stan's No Tube sealant cannot make stable the tire that have no side proteciton.
  • Also stops air leakage, something like warts occur on the side of the tire wall, which is very fragile. Tire is will be flat when touching rocks in the mountain.
  • Tubed tires are much safer.
