Ninose trails Nov.24

We go to Mt.Nebiso every weekend. It seems to be very crowded near the area today. So we decided to go to the Ninose trails in this weekend. Skies are blue and warmer than expected.

6 riders met together at 9 am today. Going up on pavement road about 7km to the trail head and down via "Kiyomizu".

There is a challenging section on the trail. It is called "kiyomizu"section. We bring up the image of the stage of Kiyomizu temple in Kyoto. It means " It was a leap in the dark". Anyway, proceeding trails are covered by fallen leaves and rocks and we enjoyed downhill. We used to come here by shuttle but we love to ride bike all the way up and down recently.

I use a Fox 32 front fork. Three other riders use Fox 36 forks. Look like easy to ride.
My friend's Devinci Dixon

I just rode on a 2012 Devinci Dixon on the double track because I 'm interested in the Dave Weagle's Split Pivot system. It was stable and very efficient peddaling bike as I imagined. However, one thing concern to me is the linkage of this frame hit my knee when holding the bike in turns...

When we came back to the starting point, we went to a hot spring nearby using a free shuttle bus. I went to the place today is also beautiful with autumn leaves but it is not crowded at all compare to Korankei which is near the usual Nebiso trails. It is a bit strange...
